I will get back to you as soon as I can to arrange a free consultation; either a face to face meeting (which is of course preferred if do able!) or a Facetime/Whatsapp/Zoom meeting. If possible, I prefer to chat for at least half an hour, so that we can get to know each other and you can come away with confidence and trust in me!

One of the reasons I became a celebrant is because I absolutely love getting to know people and their stories! In addition to our chat, I may ask you to complete a couples questionnaire to help me dig deeper and craft your deeply personal and unforgettable ceremony.

It takes at least 20 hours of research, writing, meetings and preparation to perfect the ceremony before the big day. Each script is written from scratch based on our conversations and your questionnaire responses. There is no template or formula - every element of your ceremony is perfectly personalised to reflect YOU

Here's a step by step Process Plan:

❋ Free consultation meeting, official booking + questionnaire

❋ Select Readings, Music and Symbolic Elements

❋ Write a draft of your ceremony and amend as necessary

❋ Write your vows (with or without my help!)

❋ Final client sign off and logistics call

❋ Venue visit (if necessary)

❋ Liase with other suppliers involved in the ceremony

❋ Rehearsal (optional extra)

❋ The BIG Day! SHOWTIME!

Fees are dependent on the type of ceremony that you want, so please contact me for a chat first and then I will be able to provide a full quote. Basic rates are:

❋ Write + perform wedding ceremonies/vow renewals from £800

❋ Write script ONLY (no attendance, somebody else to perform) wedding/vow renewal ceremonies from £500

❋ Write + perform wedding ceremonies/vow renewals + DJ

❋ Advice and recommendations on general planning, music, readings, performances, timings, etc

❋ Liaising with your suppliers to ensure we are all aligned with one another

❋ Officiating your ceremony on the day (if booked to write AND perform wedding ceremony!See above!)

❋ A presentation copy of your ceremony script (should you like it!)

❋ Travel within 80 miles of Southend on Sea, Essex

Additional costs

❋ Assistance with writing and editing speeches for the reception starting at £100

❋ MC services: help with organising and orchestrating photos, announcements and support up until after the first dance starting at £250

❋ Any additional props such as Handfasting ribbons, candles, commemorative certificate for signing, etc, will be charged at cost

Terms:

❋ A booking fee of 50% of the total fee is payable to confirm the booking following the consoltation. If this hasn’t been paid, the booking is NOT confirmed. The remaining balance is due 12 weeks prior to your ceremony or on production of the final script (whichever is sooner!) Ceremonies booked within 12 weeks of delivery require full payment at the time of booking.
